In 2020, the Lord put it on our hearts to increase the chickens on the property. We did and then the pandemic hit along with lock down. Surrounding communities had decreased ability to get food supplies and in particular eggs. By God’s grace, we were able to donate regularly to the local health clinic to provide a steady supply of eggs to families in need. Now, we continue to feed our neighbouring community with ‘The best blessed eggs in the Hokianga‘, both with hen eggs and duck eggs. Each carton of free range eggs receives a daily scripture. People donate what they can, usually $10 a dozen and we rejoice that the Word is going out into the world at the same time as the whanau is being well nourished at home. Thank you chooks!
